About this Ministry . . .

     Standing Tall Ministries was formed in early 2003, after nearly a year of God "stirring the water" deep in the spirit of Dale Hathorn. After 15 years in the pastoral ministry, he felt that there was more that God would have him do, that would not be realized if he was restricted to ministry in only one congregation. Through his personal time seeking the Lord, mission experiences in Mexico, opportunities to celebrate the presence of God in worship, and the Word of God spoken through various friends in ministry, Dale began to realize the magnitude of the call of God upon his life and made the decision to step out in faith to go where the doors opened for evangelism, renewal, and mission. While ordained and approved within his denomination, Hathorn's ministry is far-reaching beyond denominational lines. He will "sound the call" in whatever church and setting that the Lord opens to him. The ministry centers around the proclamation of the Word of God, but Hathorn is also an accomplished vocal musician who uses his talent to compliment the message. His personal openness and his genuine love for the people to whom he ministers, enable him to deal with the sensitive issues that people face in their quest to find God. The transparency of Dale's heart and the annointing of God upon his ministry are drawing people into new relationship with the Lord Jesus everywhere he preaches. The minsitry is funded by "partners" who regularly support it, and by love offerings and honoraria given at the services in which he ministers.
